Forums Updated to phpBB 3.0.1
I was sitting around and realized that I had not updated the forums to run the newest phpBB 3.0.1! This has made me a little depressed because the release of phpBB 3.0.1 was more than a month ago and I know you guys should not have to wait for so long for me to update to the newest release. I’ve been swamped with work from finals and my sophomore year of college ending but now that school is done I should have more of time to work on the site. So, I sat down and began coding and editing the files needed to upgrade. Along with this update we are announcing the end of our beta period. The beta testing went well and we gained a lot of valuable information from our users. We believe that the forums are stable enough for us to remove the program from beta. Thank you for the cooperation during this period and we thank all who participated.
As for the next release, I want to add functionality to the admin panel to easily integrate different analytics programs so that forum owners can easily keep track of their visitors through free tools like Google Analytics and Stat Counter. I am considering programs to integrate and if you have any suggestions of statistic trackers that you would like to see please let me know.
